The Teenage Girls Fighting Child Marriage

Milaan Foundation is an NGO advocating for the continuation of secondary education and the health of adolescent girls. It also focuses on preventing child marriage and gender-based violence for adolescent girls from low-socio-economic communities in India.

I took photos for Milaan Foundation, and also shot photographs for a feature on the teenage girls fighting child marriage in villages across Uttar Pradesh, a state with one of the highest incidences of child marriage in India.
